Delhi University admissions are the talk of the town every year especially due to their cut-offs and even if students pass with excellent marks, getting admission in DU is a dream far away. In a good gesture, Delhi University’s Bharti college did not lag behind to take in a well-deserved student despite of her not being able to pay the admission fees.

In an inspiring incident, an 18-year-old girl went to Bharti college for taking the admission in Journalism (Hons). The girl passed all the test and interviews and later went on to finish the admission process with the help of the college faculty. After finishing the whole procedure, she was asked to submit the fees for her first semester. She realised that she and her family actually cannot afford the college and saw her dreams crashing down until she knew that the help is always provided to the people in need.

The Principal and professors on hearing her tragic story pooled in the money and completed her admission process. The story came into light after Bharti college professor, Nandini Sen took to her Facebook to share the story of an aspiring journalist. According to her post, the girl’s father passed away and her mother earned very minimal amount as a vegetable vendor so she was unable to pay for her fees.

The professor’s post is going viral all over the Internet and has garnered 1.9 K likes and 268 shares.
