Samsung launches a power bank that charges smartphones wirelessly

Samsung India recently launched two new wireless charging accessories in India—the Samsung Wireless Power Bank and Wireless Charging Duo Pad. Both devices are Qi certified and work with not just Samsung but also non-Samsung devices that comply with the Qi wireless charging standard.

However, when it comes to Samsung devices, Galaxy smartphones and wearables would be compatible with the new wireless charges.

The Samsung Wireless Power Bank comes with a built-in wireless charging pad. It sports a slim aluminum body and has a battery capacity of 10,000mAh battery inside. It can charge two devices (one wireless and one wired) at the same time while offering Adaptive Fast Charging and Quick Charge 2.0 charging tech for both. The Samsung Wireless Power Bank is priced at ₹3,699 and comes in silver and pink color options.

The other product, the Wireless Charger Duo Pad, is essentially a cheaper version of the Duo Pad launched last year. The new version has two horizontal charging plates instead of a single uninterrupted vertical plate. This gives it the ability to charge two separate devices at once. So this can allow you to charge your wearables along with your smartphone simultaneously. It supports Fast Charge 2.0. The Wireless Charger Duo Pad is priced at ₹5,999 and available in Black and White colours.
