The developer of the wildly popular game announced on Tuesday that it was appointing four new board members.

Krafton, the Korean company behind the successful three-year-old mobile and desktop shooter game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) announced on Tuesday that it was expanding its board of directors with four new members, most notably including Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin.

The developer of the wildly popular game announced during its general shareholder meeting that it was appointing four new board members - Kevin Lin, who was co-founder and former COO at Twitch, Suekyung Lee, senior VP at Procter & Gamble China, Eunjung Yeo, professor at Chung-Ang University and board member at KT Corp, and Yanghee Paik, co-founder and CEO of Rael.

Lin’s arrival at Krafton is expected to give the company a better understanding of the gaming market and digital media industry, in order to help the company’s CEO CH Kim, who plans to grow the company as a “globally competitive company” through game development, intellectual property expansion and aggressive investment in promising new businesses, the company stated in a press release.

In addition to the main PUBG mobile and desktop titles, Krafton is also reportedly working on PUBG Mobile India, a replacement version of the app that was banned by the Indian Government last year citing security concerns. We had recently reported that GodNixon (aka Luv Sharma) a popular PUBG Mobile content creator, had shared an update on the issue in a video claiming that the Indian government had finally approved PUBG Mobile India. Hoever, the company is yet to make a formal announcement.

In addition to the company’s most popular mobile battle royale game, the Korean gaming company stated that it is also working on a new title PUBG: New State, which is expected to arrive in the coming months. It is also working on Striking Distance Studio’s The Callisto Protocol, which is a single-player survival horror game that is slated to arrive next year.
