Seminar on Women Rock IT held at SRK Institute of Technology in Vijayawada

<p>The Computer Science department of <strong>SRK Institute of Technology</strong> in association with <strong>CISCO </strong>Networking Academy organised a one-day seminar on <strong>&lsquo;Women Rock IT&rsquo;,</strong> which highlights the role of women working in Information Technology domain across the world.</p> <p>A Gujarat based research institute <strong>ESF </strong>labs security analysts R Lakshmi Prasanna Sai and R Haritha Priya took part in the programme and addressed the gathering here on Tuesday.</p> <p>Addressing the students, Lakshmi Prasanna highlighted various personality traits that women need to develop to stay strong in the IT industry.&nbsp;</p> <p>She explored the fundamental qualities and habits to be inculcated by the women to manage both personal and professional life.</p> <p>Priya focused on the recent changes in the software industry, job role changes and updates in the software technologies.</p> <p><strong>Dr M Ekambaram Naidu</strong>, college principal, said students should learn the emerging technologies to be perfect software professional.</p> <p><strong>Dr D Haritha</strong>, HoD CSE coordinated the event.</p>
